For more than 4 decades the brand SEBRING represents exhaust systems of the highest quality. In 1963 SEBRING developed its very first exhaust system for a Steyr Fiat 1100. Whereas many competitors still use pressed sheet trays, SEBRING produces already all exhaust systems out of a seamless precision tube. Furthermore due to nickel plated inner pipes and galvanized steel wire SEBRING sets the highest quality standards. Already in 1966 SEBRING offered an exhaust system for almost every type of vehicle.

Performance-oriented

During the mid-sixties a close relationship with Jochen Rindt was the basis of on-going technology transfer to the national and international highest level of motorsports. From its very beginning SEBRING sport exhausts provide a great sound, a perfect design as well as a performance gain due to continuous development work combined with a technology transfer gained from racing sports.

Ecology-minded

During the general petrol crisis, a time when environmental awareness was rare, SEBRING demonstrated already its high competence in coming up with the necessities for the environment by means of research and development. Already in the mid-sixties SEBRING sport exhausts were developed in compliance with international noise standards. In 1979 the first sport exhausts for two stroke engine motor cycles were developed.  

Legendary

In 1980 the series production of the unforgotten Puch mopeds started where SEBRING contributed more than its exhaust systems. The limited editions „Puch Monza SEBRING“ and „Puch Cobra SEBRING“ of these legendary mopeds became bestsellers.

Tuned

The eighties saw the beginning of car tuning. Now and then famous tuners like Abt or Lorinser rely on the know-how of SEBRING.

Innovative

In 1986 the company sets another milestone with the development of the first catalytic converter for motor cycles by Ing. Otto Kresch.
In spring 1998 the plant moves from Köflach to the nearby situated Voitsberg and the newly built SEBRING Technology Centre, equipped with ultra modern production facilities was opened. The expansive course continued and in 2002 one of the most modern research and development centres worldwide was opened focusing mainly on sound design.
Further expansions, the investment into latest processing technologies and into an excellently trained staff were the reasons why SEBRING evolved from a renowned sport exhaust manufacturer to a competent partner in the automotive industry. Car manufacturers like for example Daimler and Porsche are among its customers.
